Hello & thanks again for stopping by.........
My name is Kathy Rueckl and I live on a 5 acre farmette in rural Luxemburg, Wisconsin. Luxemburg is
located 30 miles east of Green Bay, which I'm thinking you may have heard of, it's the home of the Green Bay Packers.
It's nice living in a rural area on a dead end road with all of it's natural beauty, well kept farm fields and dairy farms
AND the peace and quiet. Being only 30 miles from Green Bay gives me the opportunity to live in "peace" and
enjoy the amenities of a larger city.
I have been breeding dogs since 1996.
The first few years were spent raising Labrador Retrievers. I learned so much through that process and I owe much of
my knowledge to the wonderful veterinarians that took time from their schedules to lend an ear when I had questions.
Even though it has been many years since I have spoken to many of them, I can still hear their answers and opinions.
Through the years I have met many more canine experts, including fellow breeders who have also shared thoughts and experiences.
As time has gone on, I now understand that experience is the best knowledge one can gain. Though I have taken those
shared answers, opinions and thoughts from others, I have also learned from my own experiences and am now able to share my
knowledge with other beginners. It's a great feeling and I am still learning. I feel that there is always something
new to learn and I strive to find all of the right answers.
That being said,
I welcome any questions you may have and although I will not claim to know all of the answers, I will find the answer to any
question you may have. It's another way for me to experience more knowledge.
In 1999, I found myself going through some major personal changes in my life. The first and foremost, becoming
a single parent of two children. With those changes in front of me, I decided that I needed to put the breeding experience
I had on the back burner and learn to live with my new lifestyle.
Well, it
wasn't long and the bug bit me again..........I was without my dogs, as they were more comfortable living on the farm that
they were raised on. One day I realized that I could make a dream of mine come true. I bought my first Saint Bernard,
well, actually, I was only going to buy one, but when I got there, I couldn't help myself. I went home with
two beautiful Saint Bernard male puppies. I was in love. Initially, my intent was only to raise these boys as
companions, no breeding, I just didn't feel ready for that. But it didn't take long and I found myself with a female
Saint Bernard puppy, ok, now it's game time!
So that's me........like the
'ol saying goes: "It's in my blood"! I cannot be without these gorgeous creatures in my life,
and puppies, oh the puppies!! There is nothing more beautiful to me than Saint Bernard puppies, nothing! My heart and
soul goes into raising every one of them. They are all special to me in so many ways.
I do hope that someday we will talk in person, until then, please feel free to contact me via e-mail with
any questions or comments you may have.
Please enjoy the pictures
I have on my site. They are all favorites of mine and I love to share.
